Parquet and flooring installation
Installation as a continuation of the manufactory
Cardinal Hall · Installation
We do not outsource laying to third parties. Installers know each batch construction and finish — ensuring joints with doors, skirting and built-ins from the same wood.

Parquet installation methods

Traditional
- Substrate assessment and datum zero.
- Moisture-resistant plywood on PU adhesive with subsequent sanding.
- Parquet bonded on PU adhesive with perimeter moisture barrier.

Modern
- Substrate preparation and reinforced primer.
- Parquet on silane adhesive without a plywood layer.
- Junction checks and finish protection after laying.

Historic
- Timber joists on rough substrate.
- Lower and upper moisture-resistant plywood layers with sanding of each layer.
- Artistic or strip parquet preserving historic geometry.

Artistic
- Substrate preparation and datum zero for complex patterns.
- Multi-stage sanding and precise assembly of decorative modules.
- Multi-layer oil or lacquer finish with joint and pattern control.
On-site stages

Subfloor diagnostics
Moisture, flatness, adhesion. No laying until the base meets spec.

Acclimation and layout
Material conditioned to target climate. Layout aligned with light and axes.

Laying and moisture barrier
Traditional plywood or direct bond. Perimeter expansion gap and adhesive control.

Sanding and finish
Multi-stage sanding, optional tinting, oil or lacquer per layer schedule.

Handover
Acceptance protocol, care guide and service card. Author supervision on key stages.
Principles
Our installation principles

Substrate and datum zero
Substrate check and datum zero — base for clean junctions.
Moisture under control
Substrate and material moisture within tolerance before start.
Specification for the project
Method, adhesive and finish protection matched to the site.
Handover with guidelines
Geometry check, junctions and operating instructions.
Quality checkpoints
- Subfloor and material moisture within tolerance
- Flatness ≤ 2 mm per 2 m
- Pattern without cumulative error
- Finish coordinated with doors and panels
