Do you install third-party parquet?

How are installation dates fixed?

After a technical site survey we produce a calendar plan with phases and checkpoint dates. It becomes a contract appendix; changes only via an agreed protocol.

Parquet installation: tech cards and geometry control

Two methods — one control logic

Traditional method: moisture-resistant plywood on polyurethane adhesive, sanding of each layer, blocks laid with a perimeter moisture barrier. Suited to complex substrates, heritage buildings and projects that need extra compensation for uneven bases.

Modern method: direct bond on a prepared screed with silane adhesive. Lower build-up, faster schedule — but only with confirmed substrate moisture and flatness within tolerance. The method is chosen at audit stage, not by default.

Checkpoints before start

Installation does not begin until screed moisture, flatness deviation (target: up to 2 mm per 2 m), pull-off strength, waterproofing and batch acclimatisation in the target room climate are documented.

The parquet batch is reserved for the project. Block geometry is controlled in production (±0.5 mm); on site, joints with door openings, skirting and fitted furniture from the same single batch are verified.

Sanding, finish and junctions

After installation: multi-pass sanding, joint filling, dust removal and oil or lacquer application per schedule (Saicos, Osmo and equivalents — layer count aligned with doors and panels).

Junctions with stone, metal and glass use compensation gaps and profiles defined in the project. Finish on floor and doors from one batch avoids “two oak tones” in one room.

Handover and contract schedule

A calendar plan is fixed in the contract: phases from delivery to acceptance, checkpoints and responsibilities. The next phase does not start without a signed protocol for the previous one.

At handover you receive a service card: climate, care products, seasonal inspection schedule. Full turnkey cycles typically run 8–16 weeks depending on area, pattern and scope.
