Why 280 days of wood drying instead of the standard 30-60 days?

280 days of chamber drying isn't marketing—it's a technological necessity. In the first stage, timber sawn into 'frize' strips and air-stacked in piles with spacers is conditioned in ventilated workshops. That way we reduce moisture by 25–30% from the initial value as gently as possible. The second stage takes place in a vacuum-convective chamber with thermo-humidity treatment developed by our in-house engineering team. It is essentially the same natural process, scaled to an industrial workflow. Frize strips on trolleys with spacers enter the drying chamber. Hot air is the drying medium. Wood temperature is raised to +55 °C, then vacuum is applied with internal pressure reduced to 0.8 atm. Together, these conditions bring sap to a boil for 10–15 minutes per cycle. The cycle runs 48 times per day and continues until the wood reaches 9±1% moisture.

How do you work with clients and confidentiality?

100% of projects under NDA—this isn't optional, it's standard. We don't publish addresses, client names, or floor plan details without written permission. Photography only with client consent, often prohibited entirely. Our team signs personal non-disclosure agreements. For clients from public spheres (politics, business, culture), we can operate through structured legal entities without revealing the ultimate beneficiary. Is the 25-year warranty real or just marketing?

Real, but conditional. The warranty covers structural integrity when the temperature-humidity regime (18-24°C, 40-60% humidity) and operating conditions are met.

What's the point of a comprehensive solution: floor + walls + furniture from the same wood?

First, aesthetics: unified grain pattern, tone, and transition from floor to panels, panels to kitchen facades creates a sense of cohesive space, as if the interior is 'carved' from a single block. Second, technology: using one timber batch, we guarantee identical reaction to humidity and temperature—floor and panels 'breathe' synchronously, no deformations at joints. Third, logistics: one supplier, one installation cycle, unified warranty. For clients: one call, design project with all technical nodes, one contract, one responsibility.

Can you restore 19th-century parquet in cultural heritage sites?

Yes, it's one of our core competencies. We've worked in the Kremlin (Red Square), Vaganova Ballet Academy, dozens of estates and mansions. Process: complete documentation (photos, measurements, species analysis, identification of historical installation techniques), then dismantling damaged areas while preserving 80-90% of the original, restoring lost planks by matching timber species, grain, and grade. NDA and equal service: confidentiality as standard

In a private residence, wood is not only material. It is an address, family habits, security routes, contractor names on drawings.

That is why at Cardinal Hall a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is standard for private residences: we set it at project start, not as a “VIP package”.

Beside it sits equal service: one level of engineering discipline from a single room to a mansion. Below — how confidentiality and one work standard work, and what that changes for photos, press and portfolio.

Trust here is not a slogan. It is a set of rules: who sees a drawing, where a sample may travel, what can be said to the press and what stays only in the contract.

NDA closes the contour by default. Equal service closes another gap — when a “small” job skips the method sheet while a “large” one runs the full programme. Our checkpoints are the same.

Public reviews and glossy case studies are fewer than at display brands for that reason. That is a confidentiality effect, not a lack of objects: since 2004 we work mainly on private residences; open names are exceptions with consent — not the shop-window norm.

Why is NDA process, not a line item option?

An option implies a choice: buy silence or save money. In our contour there is no choice — the agreement attaches at start with scope and calendar.

That is simpler for architect and client: no separate negotiation when shoot or publication comes up. The base mode is already closed.

Exceptions are written and narrow only: an approved frame, an anonymised joint fragment, press without address and surnames. A verbal “fine for Instagram” does not count legally or operationally.

What exactly does the agreement protect?

Typical contour: site address, personal data, layouts, specifications, commercial terms, interior photo and video, correspondence and trade names when they are not already public.

Separately — tone samples and masters: they are not used as “our new Rublyovka project” in talks with third parties. Timber batch and finish card also do not become an ad story without consent.

Public portfolio is marked clearly: sites such as the Kremlin or the Vaganova Academy are agreed exceptions. Private residences in the “since 2004” list stay without addresses and surnames.

How does NDA affect site photos and press?

The website and press packs only take frames with written permission or a pre-agreed showroom and production shoot. A private-home interior does not become a homepage hero by virtue of handover.

When consent exists we lock scope: which rooms, whether a window view may show, whether people may appear, whether identifying detail needs retouch. Everything else stays closed.

For press we prepare either a decline or an anonymised piece: a joint, a texture, the single-batch principle without an address. A “leaked” geo-tagged reportage is not part of the process.

What does equal service mean — without a VIP queue?

Equal service is not “the same price for everyone”. It is the same checkpoints: survey, moisture protocol, lot reserve, contract dates, method-sheet install, handover with a care card — for one room and for a whole house.

Queue priority follows the contract and site readiness (substrate, trades, access) — not invoice size in ads and not a “VIP tier”. A small scope does not get “simplified” geometry.

So a smaller-area client does not subsidise someone else’s PR with silence and does not receive a cut-down engineering contour. A large object does not buy a separate ethic — it buys more work inside the same standard.

What is fixed in the contract before start?

Product scope, calendar, responsibilities, NDA terms, change order, service card after handover. The client sees what is made, who installs, how acceptance works and what may not be published without consent.

Architect and client communication runs on agreed channels. Drawings and samples are issued by role — not to every trade in a shared chat.

Entry to the production contour is via the catalogue. Project-start questions via contacts. We do not promise public cases in advance: consent first, frame second.
