Oil Finish
Craft and benefits
Oil is a finish that soaks into the wood rather than sitting on top as a film. The floor stays matte, breathable, and pleasant to the touch. Scratches or worn spots can be refreshed locally without sanding the whole floor. The choice for residential interiors where natural look and eco credentials matter.
How it works
Parquet oil is a plant-based formulation (linseed, tung, sunflower) that penetrates the wood instead of forming a surface film. The surface remains natural in appearance and feel, matte or semi-matte. Grain and color stay visible. If one area is damaged, only that area needs to be retreated, without sanding the entire floor. Reapplication is typically recommended every 1–2 years in residential use. We use premium systems such as Osmo, Woca, and Finishing, and select the right product for species, traffic, and desired tone.
