Kitchen and fitted furniture installation: axes, joints, handover
Premium kitchen and fitted furniture installation means tying into room architecture, rigid carcass fixing, coplanar fronts and documented handover. Cardinal Hall installs in-house production per site tech card.
Base and datum zero
Before carcasses are set, datum zero is established with a laser: worktop level, module axes, alignment to window and door opening. Base units are levelled on adjustable feet.
Floors are protected; site humidity is logged. Installation does not start if tolerances fail — otherwise fronts will not sit in one plane after appliances are fitted.
Carcass, fixing and joints
Carcasses are fixed to load-bearing walls with concealed brackets and reinforcement at stress points (worktop, wall units, integrated appliances). Side panels 18–19 mm; hinges and runners premium soft-close.
Junctions with floor, skirting and panels are defined in the project — no on-site improvisation.
Fronts, gaps and handover
Fronts are hung after final carcass geometry check. Even gaps between doors, coplanar fronts, ceiling compensation joint designed in from the start.
Handover checklist: opening, soft-close, junctions, lacquer/veneer care schedule. Protocol and service contacts for seasonal adjustment are provided.

Priority is Cardinal Hall products. Third-party installation is possible after an audit of hardware, geometry and finish against our joint standards.
