Artistic parquet: module geometry without error accumulation
Artistic parquet is not “a pretty pattern” but geometry with tolerance in production and installation. A 1 mm error per module accumulates over tens of metres and breaks junctions with architecture.
From CAD to shop floor
The pattern is designed in CAD aligned to room axes, doors and columns. Modules, medallions and borders are prefabricated with angle and diagonal control.
Species and finish come from the same batch as field parquet and stairs. Otherwise the artistic centre lives on its own.
On-site installation
Laid to laser layout, not by eye. Adhesive bed, humidity and temperature per protocol. Sanding and finish after the full pattern is assembled.
Junctions with skirting, thresholds and fitted furniture are designed in — not trimmed on site by improvisation.
Heritage and today
18th–19th century techniques evolved: today CNC, kiln drying and engineering supervision deliver precision — but the principle remains: geometry over decoration.
