Stages
Preparation and climate
Before work we check humidity and temperature, finish floor condition and substrate stability. Balanced climate for wood reduces seasonal size change and twist risk.
Opening geometry
We check plumb, level and diagonals, measure width and height at several points, relate to finished floor level. Deviations are resolved with a technical compensation plan.
Frame and portal
We set the frame in the design plane with rigid fixing of key points, then assemble portal and architraves with a consistent profile rhythm. Junctions to wall, skirting and floor stay visually continuous.
Leaf and hardware
We hang the leaf, fit locks, hinges, closers and magnetic latches with staged adjustment. Even working gaps, correct rebate and predictable movement without sticking.
